Getting to Cannes

Departures-Arrivals. (Fixed link!) Travel services for individual, business traveler's and holidaymakers. From airport to visa. Massive amount of door-to-door info.

France Travel. Guide to France including regions, towns, places of interest, activities and events. Includes travel information.

Nice airport. The town of Nice has the nearest airport. Count at least 40 minutes to get there from Cannes (more on a Saturday).

SNCF railways. High-speed or local, the French railway website is quite helpful and available in 6 languages. Remember Thalys and other high-speed connections arrive in Cannes station. Worth bearing in mind when flights are over-booked.

Trenitalia Italian railways. Nearby Nice can be reached from Milan by train. At the time of going to press, Trenitalia is offering deals from as little as €15. Look for the Smart Price deal on their site (in English or Italian).

Which Budget.com. A simple question: which budget airlines fly to Nice from elsewhere in Europe?
